Connectivity Platform Implemented office desk have been linked via telephone cables for years now. The two networks were formed by totally different technologies; the cables and systems were completely incompatible. The answer is structured cabling. Structured cabling has in the past few years become standard infrastructure for all modern office complexes. It is a single generic cabling system, capable of handling both voice and a data transaction from any type of equipment especially today's powerful digital systems. Structured cabling can be installed with future confidence.

Local Area Networking is an integral part of every computerization project today. This is primarily due to the fact that since the advent of the micro computer age most companies have continued to acquire stand alone computer systems and peripherals which has lead to a duplication of application software and data as well as hardware resources in some cases. The most important point however has been the need to share data (database) without having to shuttle around the office with floppy disks. In addition to this there is the need for communication (electronic mail), security (data security/access security) and the need to share expensive peripherals.

Networks have been growing in function, speed, and importance for years. Over the last three decades the Internet has been built and continues to develop at a revolutionary pace. While attention given to Internet seems to be drowning towards its advertising and entertainment aspect, there is far greater value in it for the scientific, corporate, and business community for which it was originally developed.

LAN- Local Area Network, a typical office networks. A data communications network, which is geographic all, limited (typical to a 1 mile radius) allowing easy inter-connection of terminals, microprocessors and computers within adjacent buildings. Ethernet and Token Ring are examples of standard LANs.

WAN-Wide Area Network, a network that is made up of inter connected LANs. These allow organizations across cities, countries and the globe to communicate.
